BEHAVIOR
Kjaku hold the same intelligence as any human- they can be quite dumb, or freakishly smart from individual to individual. However, this is not the outcome of "selective breeding" or evolution- the Kjaku shares its origins from humanity itself, and naturally pulled numerous traits from humans, their intelligence being the most notable. How the Kjaku came to be, however, is an entirely different story. The Kjaku are just as sentient and advanced as modern people are. It's not uncommon to see one walking around with a phone in its hand or having a fashionable outfit.
Kjaku are mostly peaceful, curiosity-driven individuals, and it's really easy to come across one who'll stop to admire another or strike up friendly relations quickly. The one trait that Kjaku have most interestingly never seemed to drop, however, is the attraction to the idea of theft. Many Kjaku simply cannot contain their needs to take what isn't theirs!
Kjaku society isn't completely crime free, with that said, and even "The Land of Trash" has its own Kjaku police to make sure everything's running all nice and dandy!

DIET
Though Kjaku may claim to have a "regular diet", it would certainly be viewed as a messy, disgusting diet by literally anyone else. Kjaku are capable of eating and digesting just about anything. Though most Kjaku tend to eat 'regular' foods like cereal, vegetables, and meats, it's common to find them eat the cereal/food boxes themselves and whatever normally would need to be thrown away! They're notorious for digging through trash for "snacks" at times, and oddly it's still considered perfectly normal by Kjaku standards.
But it might just make "taking out the trash" much easier...

LIFE
Most Kjaku are canonically known to have a life expectancy of around 120-140 years - (with the exception of Pythos and Amniro who are as old as their world's existence).
A Kjaku's life is much like that of a person's- they may work, play, watch movies, or kick back and relax! Interestingly, however, Kjaku are known for their lack of belief in 'religion'. While some may agree in the idea that there's certainly something of greatness up above, the idea of devotion to any "entity" had long passed in the history of Kjaku as unacceptable. As a result of this, it's super rare to ever see "religion" of any kind incorporated into their lives.
However, Kjaku are incredibly well known for their love of holidays- even if it isn't religious! Kjaku are known to celebrate throughout entire months- even if "day" is in the holiday's name. Entire communities of Kjaku from within the big cities to the small rural areas may gather together at times just to celebrate passionately, bringing each other up and improving relations between each other.
